…Says Uzodinma best option for Imo people
A political arrowhead and incumbent Speaker of Imo State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chike Olemgbe has vehemently, charged all political appointees and stakeholders of Ihitte-Uboma state constituency to gear up towards achieving Governor Hope Uzodinma’s re-election on November 11, 2023.
Rt. Hon Chike Olemgbe who threw the challenge to the electorate at a crucial meeting of Ihitte-Uboma political appointees and other major stakeholders of Ihitte-Uboma extraction insisted that the incumbent governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma remains the best option for Imo state for now as according to him, Imo state is already on a highway to socio-economic and infrastructural recovery.
The house of assembly speaker who represents Ihitte-Uboma state constituency in the Imo state legislative house posited that Imo state needs a leader with strong political will to continue to attract substantial dividends of democracy from the federal government. Rt. Hon Chike Olemgbe hinted that the essence of the meeting with Ihitte-Uboma political appointees and other stakeholders was to ascertain the level of his constituents’ readiness to ensure victory for Governor Hope Uzodinma in the forthcoming Imo state governorship election.
Highlighting Governor Uzodinma’s people-oriented achievements in less than Four years in office, Speaker Chike Olemgbe asserted that Imo state could not afford to start afresh in governance at this critical time that yawns for consolidatiom in all sectors of the economy.
Subscribing to the views expressed by Chike Olemgbe, a formidable stakeholder and Imo state commissioner for trade and investments, Comrade Simon Ebegbulem commended Rt. Hon Chike Olemgbe for rallying support for well-meaning Imo People’s clamour for Governor Uzodinma’s re-election. According to Simon Ebegbulem, the best divine Christmas gift for entire People this year is Hope Uzodimma’s re-election into office as the state Chief Executive.
In their separate speeches at the occasion which took place at the Ihitte-Uboma local government council headquarters, Isinweke, the commissioner for special duties, Dr. Okey Anukwem and the Sole administrator of Ihirte-Uboma local government, Barr. Uche Okonkwo assured Chike Olemgbe of Ihitte-Uboma stakeholders’ readiness to ensure that Governor Uzodinma secures resounding victory in the area on November 11.
Political appointees present at the occasion included the Chief of staff to the speaker of Imo state house of assembly in the person of Hon Cajetan Anowe, co+ordinators of development centres in the area namely, Innocent Onuoha and Salome Mbadugha, among others.
